engine going crazy???????

I have a 2001 mustang 5 speed and the problem is when i driving and come to a stop and shift to N and let off the clutch it starts reving to about 3000 rpm on it own i have checked the throttle body cable and it not getting stuck>>>>>>>>>>>& gt;

Is it just doing it inneutral? Does it feel like it still revving when you downshift?Possible IAC, I've changed mine on my 95 and fixed the problem. Easy fix if thats the problem. Good Luck!

Or TPS (throttle position sensor).

yea when i down shift it fine
