i ran an ebay intake for over a year when i was using a cold air intake
i took it apart about 10 times and NEVER once had ANY problems with it nor the person i sold it too
paying over $100 for an intake that isnt JLT its rediculous
and even then i wouldnt pay for JLT

I have heard many good stories about ebay cai, but I had a very bad experience with mine. It came with bends in the ends of both pipes and the flange where the MAF bolts on was out of shape badly. I got the bends out and got it installed, but it was a PITA. an ebay cai can also fail a visual inspection, because they have no C.A.R.B sticker.

i wouldnt even worry about it, to tell the truth. id just remove the silencer and drop in a k&n cone filter...itll net appx the same gains, youll save cash, and youll be happy with it...the seat of the pants diff will be the same.
