Default Programmer after 4:10s?

i just put in my CAI and was thinking of putting in 4:10s as my next mod. i dont know too much about this, but heard that after the installation, it messes up the speedometer. if so, should i get a programmer/chip? which one would you guys recommend?

links and opinions are greatly appreciated

You have to get a chip or tuner when you get gears installed, if you want to tell how fast your going. Most people will recommend using SCT chip or flasher which will work great if properly tuned. I recently had gears and t-lok installed and bought the SCT flasher, but was not happy with it. So I bought the diablo predator which works great and has more options. If your budget is small buy a chip, but with a little more cash you could get a flasher or tuner which is better in the long run.
