honestly....that's a losing battle. if you have money to burn and want to make like 20 or so horsepower, you can, but i'd just save your money for something fast later on down the road.

one thing im prety sure of tho is that if i could eventually swap a 2.3L turbo into it the parts should interchange within eachother..... as long as the turbo engine isnt any bigger than the non-turbo it should work. also, the otehr day i found a battery terminal peice in the back of my car and noticed that the battery gauge keeps fluctuating between normal and where its about to die but it starts every time.... think that the terminal pieces have to be replaced?

what year is your car? cause if it's dual plug, pretty simply, it won't swap over without you having to do some work. but if you're pre 91, you should have a very similar head minus the inconel valves, so if you are going to use anything, buy a turbo head and work it so you don't reuse the ported head later and end up with burned valves. on the header issue, i wouldn't waste the time. as for the cam, you probably should think about getting a ranger cam and followers from a dual plug engine because it's a roller cam and will give a little more power for not very much money if you know where to look.

Ebay has plenty turbo heads. i am now swapping a Turbo 2.3L into my current N/A 2.3L =D sounds like you get to have the fun i am. cept my T2.3L is out of an 88 Merkur XR4Ti that poor thing was in bad condition cept the engine =D. who knows maybe if i get a new header i can give you the one i have. and yes parts are interchange able you can make the 2.3L you have now a turbo engine easy just better to do a swap =-D
