Default simple split-port question

Ok, I have all the gaskets, bolts, and my 2000 split-port gasket match p&p intakes and heads.I have Monday-Thursday off of work next week, so time is no concern. Now my question. Keep in mindthat the 1998 this is going on is conpletely stock.

1)What kind of gains will I be looking at consitering the p&p and the sn-95's slightly more aggressive cam shaft, andbetter exhaust headers?

you should see 50-60rwhp gain.

did you dyno the single port??? if not why not spend the $90 to get a baseline and then after to prove the gains

Not a bad idea. Exept for the fact that the nearest dyno is 2 hours away. . . damn Wyoming. I' think I'll do that though, sounds like a good idea.

You should gain more than 40-50hp if the heads and intakes are p/p. The split port parts in stock form should add 40 hp.

What do u all think of changing out the stock 01 upperintake for a 96-98 ford windstar intake?I am working with Vapauto.com in making oneI was think that it would be nice to add power and see both sides of the motor.I had to change spark plugs today and i hated every min of it.

If you think changing the spark plugs is a pain in the *** you probably will not want to do what is all needed to fit that intake under your hood.

No we got that down. The only problem we hit is you would have to get rid of the egr completey for it intake to sit right. But we are thinking if we use the egr with a lil more hose that we can push it over to the side a lil more
