Default Rear Axle ABS/non ABS

Just looked in the truck, will a ABS style axle work on a Non ABS rear?
she picked it up from the junkyard, so if it won't work then i'll go back and see if they have a non abs..

It will work, I did it on mine and many others, sn-95 and new edges. What "cross shaft bolt" are you talking about? Are you talking about the little bolt that holds in the kingpin?

It should work perfectly, I did it for my 95, it was a bolt in thing.

they should work no problem. axles are not ABS specific. the Tone Ring is on the ringgear/differential assembly.

you might have axles from a newer rear that was put into an older stang. 99+ are too long for94-98 and Fox. 94-98 axles will work in a fox.

i don't see how you are hitting thedifferential cross pin. doesn't make sense

It's actually on the ends of the axle shafts, right behind the hub. On the trucks it's in the diff.
