I drove for like a day without a cat back, but yeah it's really loud and annoying, and everything will vibrate like crazy.

What welding do you need to get done, my complete exhaust is bolt-in? My lt's took maybe 3 hours to put in, including cooling time. The h-pipe was easy. the catback was terrible, I hated aligning that damn thing. Glad I have dumps now lol

I plan on putting the headers on, bolting up the h-pipe, then getting the shop and get them to make some pipes (bolted on to the h-pipe)to go from the h-pipe to the mufflers (weld on the mufflers) and then to the tips (weld on the tips).

I already have the mufflers, tips, o2 ext., MIL elim.,header gaskets, LTs, mounting brackets/hardware, andGT bumpersitting in my room so I think I got everything I need. I just need to get all this **** put on.

You need to cut and weld a bolt clamp to the start of your exhaust system to match the long tube headers outlet. If it was short tube headers you wouldnt have to because they match up with your stock headers where as long tube headers are longer, hence the name.

I don't quite understand what you meant, but I also have the mac o/r h-pipe and it comes with all the hardware to bolt up to thelongtubes (i've already test-fitted everything in my living room). From the the h-pipe back, I'm gonna let the exhaust shop deal with that, sinceI've decided I'll install the headers and h-pipe myslef.

P.S.... does anyone know if this willbe alot harder sinceI have an automatic???

Yeah it's gonna be a little tougher, since the auto is a lot wider than the stick. There really is a ton of room down there though, as opposed to what the v8's have.

So it should still be possible to do it myself even though it's an auto with some jackstands, appropriate wrenches, ratchets/sockets, etc. and a good day's worth of time?????
