egr problem

Default egr problem

I am having a problem with my egr. I have had the check engine light on, i replaced the valve and the sensor and i still have the check engine light. Any1 know how to solve this problem.?

What code is your cel throwing? Did you replace the tubes to your sensor?

I don't remember the code right now but i did not replace the tubes I was going to try and clean them 2marrow.

do u remember what the code stood for? im throwing one thats saying insufficient flow coming from egr. blah blah. i havent done anything about it yet, idk about that kinda stuff, so i think im just gonna order a new egr valve, try that first.

mine just readsbad egr but i replaced both just to be safe and still look what happened[:@]

mind did that and it was the egr pressure feedback valve you can get one at rockauto.com for like 25 thats normally what it is. cause it's kinda rare for it to actually be the egr valve on a mustang

yes i did reset the computer and the light stayed off for a few hours then came back.

my egr pipe from y header was cracked so i did the same thign untill i found out that is what was rboken.I had to order that part from the dealer because no one males them it cost me $60 for that pipe.It could just be a leak just start the car and spay throttle cleaner aroudn egr and gasket area if the car jumps up in rpms then u dont have them tight
