Default 250hp V6

Is 250hp without using a supercharger, turbo or nos realistic and if it is how should i go about doing it?

yes it is possible, you just need to get a lot of bolt ons. To get 250hp out of a naturally aspirated V6 you need to get exhaust (dual flows and off road h/x pipe),CAI, gears, headers, MAF, Diablo Sport chip, that'll get you close, but im not exactly sure it will get you to 250, but very close. Jus plan on spendin some $... ask 97stallion. Hes got a 97 v6 and his sounds like a v8 and runs like 13's or so in the 1/4, he'll kno what u need...

I figured it was, do you know if running a straight pipe is performance robbing? I'm running a straight pipe after the cat converter up and over the rear axel to maintain back pressure, im willing to run duals but my pipe sounds soooooo sooooo good right now it would be alittle depressing.

ummm its illegal to run straight pipes.... and you wont pass smog lol. Some say runnin straights does rob some of your h.p. but im not sure, id rather have flows or some type of muffler. I'd only do straits if I had an old muscle car...

Honestly I would rather have a true dual system, but the straight pipes are legal...it is still cat back and passes texas inspection. thanks for the link, hotrods n booze. my mustang is a standard if that gives anyone else a better idea for what to do.....even though the super six stuff does look pretty neat.

Bottom line with our V6 Mustangs. Ford chokes the shizzz out of them. We just need to do what ever we can to pass more air at a faster rate through our engines.

Well, the SSM HiPo power pak is around 1,700.00 but I think it can be done for less.
