Default What's the difference in sound?

I have a 2004 3.9l v6.

What's the difference in sound between dual Flowmaster 40 series with a mac h-pipe turned down and

dual flowmaster super 40 series with a mac h-pipe turned down?

Basically...is there a huge difference in sound between a original 40 series and super 40?

Super 40's will be a little bit quieter than regular 40's, but they will also hold their tone up top better. I don't think they have as loud as a drone as regular 40's either.

So what actually sounds better? I bought two 40 series instead of the super 40's, so I hope I like the sound

What sounds better? That is a matter of opinion.
