You probably have to remove the dash or the gauge cluster to get to the switch and **** inside.

This is a little difficult but once you see what you need to do its easy. There is a little spring loaded peice of metal that is holding it on. First step is to get a small screw driver that will fit in the little slot on the side of the ***. Once you find the little metal peice you need to put the screw driver in there and pry it off. Just play around with that little metal peice inside the **** and you should get let me know if you get any problems. And I will try to explain it better cuz i have taking mine off like 50 times to put in my gauges.

Or bend a stout paperclip into a small hook shape and pry forward (same direction as pulling the **** outward).

I used one of those little hook tool thigys that look like something a dentist might use and I pulled the clip as far forward as I can get it but the **** still doesn't budge what am I doing wrong?

That should have worked, turn the headlight **** so the slot is exposed, you'll see the clip (it's V-shaped), hook behind it and pull up and forward. If it still isn't off later this week let me know and I can meet you somewhere in the Arlington area and see if it will come off.
