Default Rust

Hey guys, whats up. I have a small area of rust about1 footabove my rt. rear wheel and was wondering the best way to stop or slow it down. I'm eventually going to repaint my stang but that costs a lot. Are there any products to apply right nowthat stops or slows it? Thanx guys.
