Why will we (5.0 guys) laugh?

 

A v6 mustang is a pony. Hence the reason it has pony emblems. A mustang gt is a mustang gt hence the badges and bumper. I test drove a '96 mystic cobra and an '04 mach 1 and I will never drive a sixxer again. The torque and power is phenomenal and you feel like theres no end to the power and you can just dive deeper and faster. That and pulling up to a light and throwing it into 2nd gives you a chubby every time.

Oh and putting gt badges on a sixxer is rice. I own a 94 pony and it IS slow as ****.

 

So what about a GT that has Cobra parts and more than Cobra power, what is that? Cobra, or GT?

a pony is a pony...those who have V6's dont really deserve to get disrespected...only if they clone the car and try to pass it as something it isn't. i personally would never own a V6 but that's just me. i show all mustangs love...no matter the engine....


unless you have euro's...if thats the case ill put your car out of its misery with a can of gas and a zippo lol

Where I work, the cleaning crew that comes in at night always rolls up in a yellow stang, with euro's.....(gag).

And +1 on everybodys rebadging opinion.

The first stang I got to drive was my friends older brothers GT back in high school. It was amazing.., but the focker put SVT and Cobra emblems on it. Never looked at him the same since.

Cant wait to get me some 3.8 badging. Cant wait to get me a GT (or greater than) also tho

 

Best way to shut up anyone who talks smack about owning a V6 is to make more power than they do.

 

Or just beat the crap out of them.

 

I just laugh and ask what kind of car do they have and race them watch them fall to a v6

The 96 Cobra is not a fast car at all. It is a quick car but not a fast car. The same is true of the Mach 1. These comments are the reason why I do not think that half of the V6 population needs a V8. They think that 300hp is fast as hell. 300hp is definitely quick but it is not fast by any means. I am not trying to bash you spoke2go1, I am just making an observation on what I have seen a lot of V6 members post.

To the OP, do you think it will be any different with any other type of car you own? You have a GT, people ask why it isn't a Cobra, Get a Cobra, people ask why you didn't get a Vette. Get a Vette people ask why you didn't get a Euro car. The list goes on and on. You have to be happy with what you are driving and not get butt-hurt every time someone makes a comment about your car, 9 times out of 10 you will have a nicer car than them. lol
