I'm assuming you have a manual. Best place to shift, for both V8s, and sixers, for daily driving, is around 1800 rpms, give or take 200 rpms.

Well assuming he's talking about bringing it up to the redline I don't think he means for around town driving, lol. For racing it I usually take it a little past redline to about 5.5k.

Seems like 4.2-4.3k is where the 98 stop making power.

Yup, that's about the best point to shift for a manual, I'm not sure if it's the same for an auto but I wouldn't go past 4500 rpm's.

94-98 should shift between 4500 to 4800 RPMs.
99-04 is between 5200-5400 RPMs.

Its not like either the 94-98 or the 99-04 is making power at 4500+ rpm's. lol

Sure, it COULD. lol How many stock or bolt-on V6's are making power after 4.5 though? lol None that I know of.

Are you selling your supercharger?

Thanks guys...

And No, it really doesn't make much power at all past 4k rpms, but with the insurance and gas money im saving by NOT having a V8, im putting toward upgrades to the V6 So hopefully I'll get a little faster in time...
