Default Targa Top ?'s

Was wondering about how the Targa top works or the concept of it.

- How much dose it cost ( sure its based on the area )
- Is it worth it ( I do love the idea of it b/c you never see it )
- Is it safe how much work is need or extra parts
- Do i need a roll bar

-Thanks

-look at around 2-3k at least, since nobody makes a kit
-opinionated question. I would do it, but not on a racecar
-safe yes, but if you screw up, hello new roof. you would need reinforcements, a lock, etc
-would be best, and subframe connectors

Never really liked the idea of a targa top. But I think there is supposed to be some kit for it floating around. Probably wanna get some sub-frame connectors too.

If you read the article, the guy says he thinks his car has 345hp at the crank. Would a 04 GT make that with just a cai, pully, exhaust and tune? I dunno, it just sounds like bs. 85hp from simple bolt-on's...I just don't believe it.

If they mess up your ride, try to sue them for enough moneyto buya GT...That would pwn...Just don't claim to have 345 hp with only bolt-ons.

The kit from JMS was around $4K if I recall, with them installing it and doing all the structural upgrades other than the cage that they recommend, so look at a bit more for yours.
