How do i remove the pump on an 03 v6...its way different than the 95 5.0s.....i took that main cover off then i removed the two 5mm bolts that held on the cover over the pump...but it still wont come out.....help please.....[/align]

 

I dropped the tank, pulled the hat off, pried the top off and lifted the whole thing out. Should be pretty straight forward???

What is it hung up on?

 

there are 2 retention tangs on the bucket. pop them out and the pump/sender/sock comes right out
