Throwout bearing and pilot bearing or both. Could even be the clutch fork, though that is rare (Unless you are me[:@])

It doesnt exactly mean that the clutch is bad too, that is to be determined by how many miles are on it, what brand it is and taking a good look at it.

Pilot bearings are less than $10 dollars but the throwout bearing ranges from $20 dollars to $60 dollars depending on who you buy it frlom, I think it was Steeda that is on the high end of that list.

Paying someone to change these items is expensive, usually $200-400 for shop labor and they will charge you about $50 bux to re-surface your flywheel. You also have to pay for all the parts so the bill can add up quick.

So the best bet is to get a mild performance clutch that you think you will be happy with, get your own bearings, get a lightweight flywheel and have them install it all. Also depending on how many miles you have you should also get a pivot ball from Ford. IE: We had 135,000 miles when I changed the engine and our pivot ball was F'ed up.

You can get into a $1000 dollar bill easily here.

Best way to save money is find a freind that can help you or ask around here if somone lives close that can help you and kick them some cash, food or parts for the help

It's too much work just to change the throwout bearing. Get a nice clutch kit and replace everything. GL

Does it make the noise when you press the clutch in or does it stop when you press the clutch in?

It makes noise when I press the clutch. I am thinking of changing the whole clutch kit. I just called the dealership and the factory one cost $185.30. Should I get the factory clutch or should I get aftermarket. As far as aftermarket, which kits are good? I seen a Valeo one on Ebay for $150 or so. Any suggestions? By the way, thanks a lot for all your help. I appreciate it.
