i have a 94 with the flowmaster force II cat-back exhaust, my question is will long tube or shorty headers both fit my car, and what is the difference between the two. i've seen bbk shorty headers for $230 and im itching to get them

They will both fit your car with some modification to the existing exhaust, the shorties are a direct swap. The difference between the two is that one set is long and one set is short, aka "shorties" and "longtubes"

You might wanna check your state emission laws before getting long tubes. Shorties are a waste of money because you pretty much already have stock manifolds that are basically shorties already.

Cali is the only state that longtube headders is illegal in, other than that you can fit cats on to the midpipe or go offroad(o/r). So if you live anywhere other than cali you can get longtubes.

The stock manifolds are some of the best ford ever made. They don't start restricting flow until arround 300 hp. With that said, i would not waste money on shorties unless you are going F/I. Longtubes will add power though. They shift your powerband up a little farther in the rpm's and produce a very nice exhaust note.

I would either keep them stock to save money or go with the headers that mike suggested. Listen to his exhaust clip and you'll want them too
