You're not gonna like it if yours is an auto....
The mags have the 99-04 automatics at 8.8 seconds and the stick at 7.9 seconds.
Your drop-in K&N plus muffler gets you about the same 5hp gain as a k&n cone filter clamped onto where your stock paper filter slides over.
That said, I have an 01 auto and pure stock did a 9.6 at 1200 altitude (5 hp less than sea level)
I clamped a k&n cone onto it and got a 9.0. I won't run a cotton gauze (k&N) cone for any length of time so the foam cone (Tru-Flow) I have on there now got a 9.2.
I have done several runs with a stopwatch, less than a 1/2 tank, 65-80 (low humidity SoCal ) degrees no baggage in car andtook my foot off the brake at about 1800 rpm (thepassenger tire always burns out).
Cal model, 51k miles, new spark plugs overall excellent condition.
By the way, Cal models are about .3 seconds slower than the other states models (no matter what the model).

quarter miles times are usually very high 15s to low 17s....just depends on the driver, the track, and all kinds of stuff. so a fair guess would be mid 16s.
