first off all 94+ 3.8's are OBDII which they make tuners for
secondle and i can't believe it wasn't mentioned is a supercoupe supercharger install. you can find a complete supercoupe swap setup on EBAY for under $1000. it will get you 190rwhp but almost 300ftlbs and with 3.45 or 3.73 gears will get you into the mid 13's with practice on a stock engine.
as for a t-lok forget it. any power to it and they blow the spyders or the clutchpacks wear out. you have to get a stronger differential like a detroit truetrac which is almost $500 but it's alot stronger than the t-lok.
detailed parts needed to do the supercoupe swap can be found at 3.8mustang.com or v6power.net.
it's your best option for power and you can always build the engine and go for a magna portIII blower setup from www.magnumpowers.com in the future. over 400rwhp is possible with the supercoupe setup

If you are needing head work anyway you might as well do a split port swap. That's +53 hp right there. Do some port and polish work before you put it on and you'll get even more. I bought a set of ready to go heads and intakes for under 300 bucks.

Im new to this game with the "6ers" concept. I know what they develop stock and I know where I want to be. What Im looking forare the books and research to get there. As we know 3.8 parts arn't easy to find. Im looking for some one who has a reliable turbocharger and what it took to get tuend. and do I whant to work from the exust forward or from the intake back. Any help is nice.

cheap mods don't do anything. you get what you pay for. get a dual exhaust. best bang for your buck. looks, sound, and hp. probably be around $400 for a fab'd setup
