Default Engine upgrades need help!!!

I want to get a little more power out of my car but without losing MPG(the whole reason I bought a 4.0l). I plan on doing exhaust and an air intake are there any other good upgrades I can do to increase hosepower?

Who doesn't?

Do the CAI, full exhaust, tuner, gears and an LSD. That should make your car considerably quicker. The new 4.0L V6 Stang's respond to mods pretty nicely. With a full exhaust, CAI and tuner you should gain about 20-30hp depending on the tune and exhaust that you get. Mix that added power with the LSD and gears and your car is going to feel totally different.

Well this just doesn't register in my head: " I want to get a little more power out of my car but without losing HP(the whole reason I bought a 4.0l)."

Like, how its possible to get more power out of a car and lose it?
And "the whole reason I bought a 4.0l"?

lol None of us are perfect at typing.I like to think that my post's are ok and then I go through them after I post them and I see all of my horrible typing errors...

Just look on different web-sites to see which company you like best for the Exhaust and CAI brands. The 4.0L usually see's pretty good gains so you shouldn't be dissapointed. You won't lose MPG by adding a CAI or exhuast unless you keep your foot in it more. lol

I think it already has a short throw in it? it has the same size shifter as my dads 07 shelby? but i dont know im not a mechanic or anything. Some I work with just called me a pozer because I got a v6 instead of a v8.

What do they drive? Why would you be a poser for having a V6?I really hate hearing people that have no idea about any type of cars talk ****... I wonder if that person realizes that the V6 Mustang accounts for %85 of Ford's Mustang sales...

Its funny because he drives an 05 mustang gt but my v6 has more options, he thinks its a "lower model" its not that they are lower models its just a different model. I got fog lights 17in brushed aluminum wheels, shaker 500 6disc cd, and mines a 5sp his is an automatic! and plus my dad drives a shelby so hes a pozer then too!
