Engine upgrades need help!!!
Black cars do show imperfections, badly. lol That is the only thing I don't like about my car. I can never keep it clean longer than a day. It always seems to get muddy or dusty somehow.
I would definitely recommend the black stripes though. Then you can get some black rims to offset them or some chrome rims to blend the red and black together.
A turbo or supercharger would give you pretty impressive gains on the stock 4.0L. Neither one of them is going to majorly hurt your engine if you keep the boost at a relatively low psi and don't drive the car stupid all of the time.

K & N is a fine brand to go with, especially on the new 6's. You do have to get a tuner to go with the CAI otherwise it won't do anything to increase the engine performance. I believe that the new 4.0L have a lock placed on them from the factory that doesn't allow them to see gains until you reprogram the stock computer. I could be wrong though.
hmm Ill have to look into it. I want to change my rev limiter its between 4k and 5k but its really fun to drive im glad I bought it. I used to have an 84 pontiac trans am with a 305 v8 and this car would rape it. i might chip the new car and I would really like true dual exhaust. Does anyone know anything about the stock headers?
The trans ams v8 was weak, lots of emissions and stuff and it was stock. The new mustang has more horsepower and torque but of course its 23 years newer to.
