Default over heating

my 3.8L 2000 stang is overheating only while driving. it is billowing out white smoke when hot. from where i dont know i cant tell but as far as i can see it looks like it might be coming from my headers behind the power steering pump. i first replaced the thermostat then the water pump it is still overheating. as well as having trouble staying at idol. does anyone have advice or possibly help?

yea definately a blown head gasket.

whats your expertise with cars and whats the most difficult thing you've completed succesfully lol. doing head gaskets on our 6's are although not the most difficult engine to work with, they're still a pain in the *** and it will take you quite a while to do.

The parts themselves are not expensive its the labor that will get you if you cant do it yourself. which i certainly dont recommend if its not something you're capable of
