I am one to be talking about OT.

 

i did it before...just put my hand on the **** and it slipped up to reverse, squealed the tires, died.

 

you have to relocate the od button but you have to get a shift **** withg a button on top.....i have that blackupr shifter with the prnd21 onit

 

Then there's something wrong with your manual shift valve and lever on the transmission itself. It should not ever let you put it into reverse or park while moving forward over like 5 MPH. I'd get that looked at if I were you.

 

Mythbusters did an episode on whether or not shifting in reverse in an auto or standard would work. In fact they "tried" to slam both cars in reverse while going 40+ and all you could hear was horrible screeching. There is a safety mechanism that keeps you from doing that but they forced the cars into reverse and all it did was screw up the tranny. Trying to see if the video is on youtube...

 

oh yeah the wheels locked up and it started bouncing too.....scared the living crap out of me
