Maybe a torque wrench?!! My buddy used to work for brake masters and they used to use power tools for drain plugs. I used to live around the corner from Jiffy lube and they used to use impacts too, I'm not sure if they still do, nonetheless, it's not needed. I usually just snug mine down hand tight, no need to torque it.

i work for walmart and it is torqued down to dearer specs if walmart did it just put one hand on the wrench and use your other hand as a hammer and there you go more leverage the better

I heard no offence to anyone that walmart does a pretty crappy job with the rest of the quick lube places thats why i started to do it myself, i got it done it was late at night so it was 16mm or a 15mm, last person to work on it was walmart, and after i hear what they told me, I decided to do it all on mhy own. The People who told me were Pep-boys and the guys at Autozone. so if two places who dont offer those services tell you the same thing, it just might be true. Thanks for all the help I finished, and learned something new.

I let walmart do my oil changes. At least if they screw it up, they have the money to fix it. The little shops may be barely getting by, so if they mess it up, I'm just SOL.

I used to do it myself, but i don't feel like running and having to drop off the oil and crap, it's more mess than I want to deal with.
