I was just shopping around on ebay and i kept seeing these cheap performance chips. They say they help save gas and increas torque and horse power. Has anyone tried one of these and if so which one and how did it really work? is it worth the 30 or 40 odd bucks ?

 

NO. get a real chip, vmptuning.com has SCT chips or hand helds

Nope, you can suck a bit more hp out of the n/a "reliablity" tune...

And it can only help when you add more mods.

 

that cheap "chip" is a $.50 resistor from radio shack. It leans the car out, that's it.

 

only mods i have are a K&N intake and tru duel exuast H pipe set up

 

I really want to get quicker accelaration and posibly a lil more torqure. Since I have a K&N intake and exaust will it be benificial to get a Chip or tuner? Or should i do some other mods first like maybe pulleys or somthing.
