Hey everyone I'm new around here,

I have a 2007 V6 mustang auto and I'm interested in switching it to a manual. My dad wouldn't let me trade the car in for a manual, but he never said anything about swapping the transmission. What does it take to swap a transmission and about how much money does it cost? I want a manual for the fun of shifting. I like the convenience of auto, butI feel like there's no point in modding it because it's just...well...an auto. What do you guys think?

I read that post and I think the year difference might affect it so I'll just wait for someone to post here, hopefully. Thanks anyway.

 

don't do it with your year cause it brings down the value of the car... buy a shift kit

 

And what does a shift kit do?
