Well you can take it to ford and have them look at it which will sot you $$$ they charged me 100 bucks one time to check the steering. Or you can just unhook the negative side of your battery for 10 minutes and it will reset everything and the engine light will come off for sure!
The air bag light won't go away by removing the negative cable but the check engine light will. If theres still a problem though the check engine light will come back on. I don't know what the rules are in the state your in but you won't pass inspection here in maryland with the air bag light on.

I am not 100% sure on this but I believe you have to goto Ford or a shop and have them hook up a computer to your computer and they shut it off...

Just take the car to Autozone, or Advance auto parts. They will hook up to the obdII under the dash and read the codes for you. They will even print out the codes, and recommend what parts are needed to correct it.

you can also get little cheap code readers at wal-mart or other stores with a large auto section. their cheap and you can only get the error codes with them, but then you can find out whats wrong and reset them with that as well
