Default Acceleration Issue

From time to time the gas pedal in my car sticks. I can put my foot under the pedal and pull it up, but that doesn't stop it from accelerating on its own. If I tap the pedal real fast, it usually unsticks. What's going on with it?

I had the same problem with my GT after a TB/Plenum install .. I would have to turn the car off then back on really fast to get it to stop accelerating... It would rarely do it though..no idea what was up with it.
