The whole idea of the v6 tt was that it was gonna be competing against other v6's with the eventual outphasing of the v8s throughout the american muscle car industry...
At least that's wut i read in some magazine somewhere...
Don't remember wut magazine so it's not a very reliable source...
But that was wut the article was sayin...
Who's makin the 6.2 v8 in 2010?
GM?

Who knows what gas prices will be in 2009 when they come out. But def these big V8s are getting better gas milage. The Vette gets really good gas milage and one of the fastest cars out there.

There was an article in Car and Driver about the new mustang and Ford is looking to putting a 3 something liter Turbo Six Cylinder called the Ecoboost. It will have over 300 hp and get really good gas mileage so I am anxious to see if Ford takes this route......

Well with gas lingering at $4.00 a gallon now, who cares about 400 or more hp, hell who cares about 300, I just want to get from point A to point B and spend less in gas then what my engine is rated at. In short, let them build 400, 500, 600 + hp V8s, they're gonna loose a lot of money because nobody will be able to afford the damn gas bill unless they're rich as hell.
the cars are starting to get better milage to, ls3 = 400 hp and 25 mpg

and gas milage is just a number for fun, i look at the price and say oh well $4.11 (93 octane) or oh $5.01 (what i paid for diesel today) and say all well heres $50, or $100 bucks
i took my vette out for some nice highway driving over the weekend. with a little bit of happy foot with like 98% highway, i got exactly 32.5mpg.
