PERFORMANCE

EPA Economy, miles per gallon
city/highway/average 20/29/25
0-60 MPH 7 seconds
1/4 Mile (E.T.) 15.5 seconds @ 84 mph
Top speed 120 mph
15.5@84?

That's got to be a typo. 84mph isn't enough to run 15.5 in a stock V6 Mustang. More like 15.5@88-89.

if a stock car cat pull a 15.5 at 84 mph, then with intake and exhaust my auto vert should be in the mid-high 14s with a 89 mph trap

average driver is high 15s for a 5 speed coupe, i dont debate 0-60 times they are useless

A stock *5-speed* can pull a 15.5@89+, but not an auto. Also, intake and exhaust doesn't legitimately make that much difference on our cars.

he said 84 mph, which i knew wasnt right, unless it was like a 1.9 60', my car should be mid-low 15s if i could get my 60's down

Exactly... 84 is too low to run 15.5 in a stock V6 Mustang. That's what I said a few posts ago. So we're in agreement there.

And yeah, your car could go mid 15's if you could improve your 60', but:

1. It's not stock
2. There's only so far you're going to get the 60' down on a street-tire, stock gears/diff, auto V6 Mustang. You should be able to get into the 2.3's, for sure. Not sure about the 2.2's though with an auto. You don't even see a lot of 2.2's with 5-speeds, honestly.

It took a whole night of runnin to get down to 15.1...
And that was before the tuner...
All I had was the clutch,
my trunk stripped,
and my silencer removed...
