im in need of a tune up and if i can i want to do my self
im pretty mechanicly inclined and i have a whole machine shop of stuff
so what does a tune up include ??

new belt
engine and tranny oil
sum will say a new battery if urs is kinda old

ive got oil just did that
need tranny fluid can i do that my self
and my battery is like 4 months old

Speaking of batteries... Where do they sell the smaller, slimmer, lighter ones? I've seen them once or twice. I think they're, maybe, half the size of or a third of the size of a stock battery.

How many miles? At the dealer I work at, a 30K service is oil change, lube all grease fittings, rotate tires, air filter, fuel filter, cabin filter (if applicable), and PCV valve.

You should add plugs, wires, coolant flush if you want. After that just give the gar a good look over, make sure nothing is leaking or broken, and see if everything is running OK.

if your mechanically inclined why would you ask what consist of a tuneup that is basic of the basics but plugs wires coil if needed pcv air filter fuel filter fuel injection cleaner belt and recharge battery is what i do

hm. then how come when i got a tune up done at econolube they had some electronic thing plugged in under my driver's side dash for like 30 mins?
