Yea it didnt sound anything like that lol i thought it was ok.. i cant really tell any difference power wise didnt really feel like i lost anything ill try to get a sound clip of it for ***** and giggles like i said im not really running open headers just took off the muffler

 

open headers and taking off the mufflers are very different. you'll lose a lot more tq if you run straight open headers vs taking off the mufflers.

 

Horrible, next worst sound would be... long tubes an magnaflows[:@]

Ok...I have a 96 mustang v6 and i also was wondering how is sounded so it did it and i ran str8t header for a week, dont get me wrong we will hear you comming a mile away, loud as F**&...I went to the track with open headers and ran a time went back to the track with full exhaust and ran basically the same time....str8t header hurts inports mostly.....and it does screw your heads up, i just got my heads back from the shop, blown head gasket, warped, bad vales, ect...ect...Do as you plz...ROFL....
