Default EGR Delete?

So I want to get my upper and lower P&P and was considering doing an EGR delete in the process. I'm moving to Indianapolis soon and they don't do car inspections there. From what I've heard when you register a car they walk over to it at the DMV to make sure the VIN matches, then they hand you the plates. The place I want to get it done at has an inexpensive EGR blockoff and filled EGR port option. What else will I need to do to remove it all? I've been looking for some kind of walkthrough but can't find one.

there may be a write up on supersixmotorsports.com but im not sure. basically block it off from the lower intake and remove it. you will have to plug bung in the manifold and other than that just remove everything that attaches to it. I removed mine not long ago. You will eventually need a tuner to get your check engine light to go off but i drove around with mine on for like 6 months and was fine. your computer disables it cause it thinks it is broken

Yeah, that's what I knew had to be done already but I wanted to make sure there was nothing else. What tuner do you use and did you need to get it specially programmed so that it would turn off the check engine light? Btw, thanks for letting me know about the vinyls, I found the guy and he still has them. =D
