does anybody know or have a suggestion as to where i could find a reasonably priced chip? i don't want a tuner, just a pre-programmed chip to boost hp and fuel economy......

If you just want a chip Jet Performance Products has one that will give you want u want. Check there web site and then look for the best price. Stay away from EBAY chips most of them are just ten cent resistors and aren't worth a fluck!
