well first off u have a digital spedo in your car. with the car off push in ur odometer button and while holding it down crank up the car. your guages should reset then u can let go of the button. after than u can push it to toggle through different settings. one is a tach and there is one that says"m". thats the spedo, i would check ur analog one to that and then if u have to u can take apart ur guage cluster and calibrate them to be syncro'd

find a speed trap to go through (with the mph thingy) or politely ask a local cop to help you get your speed while driving slowly and see, or get a GPS system, the previous owner could of installed gears in your car to screw it up, or what size tires are on your car?
