I got a 2002 v6 mustang... and the second a push on my clutch it grinds and the more a push it.. it starts to squills and it feels funny when im pushing my cluch in too like a bumpy feeling... does anyone know is this my clutch only or is there more to it..

 

Pressure plate is more than likely bad, however I'd have a shop verify that one. If you have to get a new clutch go aftermarket, 20 billion times better than stock.

 

ya my clutch pedal is hard to push in sometimes, and when the car is out of gear there is an odd rattling sometimesi can't figure out what the problem is but i was pricing a clutch and aluminum flywheel earlier just in case.

 

The clutch on my 2004 V6 started squealing last night. I figured I'd take it in today after work to get it checked out. That didn't happen. This morning it was squealing and chirping louder on my way to work. It started grinding and getting the bumpy feeling you described. I detoured right to the Dealer I bought it from and had it checked out. The throw out bearing, clutch disc, and pressure plate all need to be replaced. Some more bad news is the parts are on back-order through Ford and they won't be in until later this week. My advice is to take it in and get it checked out.

 

^^^Leave the car at the shop and order a Spec clutch. Much better than a Ford clutch.^^^
