Just bought a secondhand 94 mustang and was just wondering if a headlight bulb ever goes out or i want to replace them , wat size bulb should i replace it with ... and how would i do it ? ( ull think im stupid but heck , im 18 , its my first car and i have no clue about cars )

im asking coz i have a couple of these xenon white bulbs lying around at home ( my dad bought em for his car but never used em ) and i was thinking of putting those qhite ones instead of the yellowish ones i have now .

 

I belive the 94's used a 9007 bulb. All u do is take the bulb out and compare it to the one that ur dad bought. If they are the same put it in. And if all else fails it says right on the bulb when u take it out what it is. If u dont want to go through all that work, look in the owners manual. It will have a list near the back of the book telling you what each bulb is in the car

 

Those yellowish ones are the side lights for the turn signal and hazard lights right? Well if they are as far as I know it is illegal to change the color of those lights. They are amber for a reason.

 

just go to ur local pep boys/auto zone/ advanced auto parts... or whatever u have around ur way. if not all, just about 99% of all stores have a book right in front of their stash. they usually have just about every car model ever made from every year dating back to at least the early 60's.
