Default Coolant temp Sensor location?

On my 2002 V6, I am getting a code indicating the coolant temp sensor is malfunctioning. I cannot locate it on the engine and it is NOT topsidenear the thermostat housing. Can someone point me to its location?

Thanks,

Tony
