Default Service Engine Soon light came on...

wow, every week is a new thing now, lol. First i broke my key, then the sway end link broke after hitting a speed bump, now my service engine soon light came on.

the car drives fine. so i have no idea what it could be. I DO have a powertrain warranty on it until 100,000 miles and it currently has 97,000 miles. Any idea what that light would be for? I really dont feel anything wrong...

It's probably some emissions crap or could be a misfire indication. Drive it up to the Auto Zone and have them do a free scan on the code. Come back here for more advice after you get the code.

okay so i went to advanced auto parts and did the code check.

it said, "secondary air injection system. incorrect flow".

does that have anything to do with air filter? which i changed recently, about 7-8 months ago.

What is the actual code? It should be something like P1037 or something like that
