Default Lower intake p&p advice please.

Hello all. I'm about to do a windstar swap. (yes I will post photos etc. etc.). I figured I would go ahead and do a p&p on my lower intake while I have everything apart. I've looked at the write up on miracerros site. It's a good write up, but he doesn't seem to have went very radical on it, plus I have a 99 with no annoying imrcs. He makes a good point about the taper and NA engines. I plan on keeping mine NA. So, anyone have any experience with this? should I or should I not gasket match the lower? any help would be appreciated. thanks.

I've done a few what exactly do you need to know?

Its about 100-150$ in parts alone to get started.

Well, first off, as I asked, do I gasket match yes or no? besides that, just what approaches to take as far as how much material to take off and best way to polish. Where are you getting prices from? I already have the tools and intake, so besides new gaskets and bits, what costs will I incur?

Aha, if you have the grinder burr sanding rolls then you should be fine, gasket match them is of course the goal I don't know how to explain to you how much to take out however....
