Default Slight annoyance

Usually when Im going down a hill or something I'll just put my car in neutral and coast. Occasionally, but not very often the engine will die for no apparent reason. Leaving me to restart it or just pop the clutch. Anybody else have this problem?

Btw its a 2002 v6

2005 mustang...sounds like a vacuum leak in the brake booster.

mn...I have no clue on that...what happens if you leave it in gear?

Car never stalls out any other time...thats pretty odd. Normally, cars stall in gear, not in neutral.

When it stalls, does it spit and sputter, or just fall flat on its face? Any check engine light?

Thats what I'm thinkin'. Wierd that it only happens in neutral while coasting though...

If it just falls flat on its face, that usually means air. If it spits and sputters, thats fuel.

Is it only happening cold or warm? Or does temperature not have an effect on it?

It happens at any temp really. And the engine just dies. My check engine light came on like two weeks ago and my dad and I used his scan tool to check it out. It said left bank vacuum leak but thus far its proving very difficult to find

LOL, a vacuum leak will do just that.

How are y'all testing? There are a few easy ways to find 'em, just gotta do it exactly right.
