Default S197 V6 Duals Options

I am now seriously thinking about getting duals put on my car, but i cant seem to decide wether to go with bassani or custom pipes back to flowmasters.

I'm looking for a system that isn't loud enough to wake the neighbors a 2 in the morning, but i still want something that has the deep classic sound.

Oh another thing im NOT going with SLP nor do i want an off-road X, and im going from cats back. I also have no intrest in purchasing new headers, i think that the stocks flow good enough.

What I did was do cut off that Y piece near the headers and welded a pipe down the left side exactly how it was on the right side and slapped on some Super 40's Flowmaster and no resonators and it sounds amazing and it's a clean H pipe setup! I would definitely recommend Flowmaster personally because I had magnaflows and it sounded horrible and the slp were too loud and didn't produce the right sound like it does for a v8.

A cheap solution for the bumper would be to cut it. Most S197 V6 owners have done this including myself. It's easy and it looks like it came from the factory that way.

Use this template to make your cut;
