Default 96 v6 needs new motor

Have a v6 with T5 trans. was wondering if 302 and 351 engines will fit and will they bolt up to t5. and what other work needs to be done. any links would help. thanks.

V6 to V8 swap isn't worth it. its better to just buy a V8. You need the front suspension out of the V8 car along with the computer and wiring and mounts. Possibly some other stuff but that's what i can think of.

A better choice is swapping a 4.2L v6 out of an F-150. Its the same block as the 3.8L you just need to swap a few parts from your old 3.8L.
