Im getting ****ty gas milage on this tank (80 miles on half the tank). I have a 03 auto cai, exaust, and diablosport tune so i figure it should get good gas milage. Its a performance tune and i usually get 250 miles on a full tank. Is this good? Will switching to a gas milage tune help ALOT? My friend has a 99 5 speed and he says he gets aroiund 350 miles a tank.

 

also i forgot to add i checked my spark plugs and wires and they are in fine condition. My fuel filter may need to be changed though could this be the culperate? If not what is?

 

fuel filter should be done every 30k so that might be it

 

Maybe it's the way you drive, I get around 320 to a tank. baby it a little more

 

well i can't see this explaining 80 miles on a half tank. I usually shift from first to second around 3000rpm.

The 80 miles was off the first half of the tank. I think i might need to replace my fuel filter i have around 38K miles on my car and i dont know if the privious owner changed it since i got the car at 36K.

 

im having the same problem but mine has 44,000 miles and idn i though i was getting bad gas so let me kno if that solved ur prooblem

 

I changed my fuel filter and im getting even worse gas milage now. (around 60 miles on a half tank) whats the problem? This NEEDS to be fixed soon.
