Unhappy Need Help

Anyone know why my car will not start unless I unhook and hook back up the positive battery cable?

I would start off by cleaning off your terminals and adding Dielectric grease to the terminal and cable. I would guess corrosion

The car turns over fine; It just does not fire. Unhooking the battery terminal probably resets the engine control unit. Just curious if anyone has experienced this issue. I have already cleaned the negative and positive battery terminals.

I have already tried that. Do you know of any issues with the control unit, etc.? I believe unhooking the positive terminal resets the control unit

It has to be disconnected for more than just a second to reset anything. Are there any CEL's?

dont you mean MILS ryan ;-) and i woudl say check all connections and fuses and relays it just something i woudl do make sure nowhere has any lose wires (you maynot have to go too in deapth just the simple stuff off the fuse boxes and the such) and also check all your connections on you battery leads trace them as best you can see if when you move anything you may have a lose wire

this is just a shot in the dark and where i would start K.I.S.S. FTW
