Hey I have a 1997 Ford Mustang with a 3.8L engine. I was wondering if it would be possible to get an O/R H-pipe and just have, for example, stock 4.6L GT catback on it.

I'm just wondering it could be done.

 

yes it can be done

 

yes it is very possible

 

that's pretty much what you have to do... catback exhausts for v6's have single inlets.

 

I have a stock GT h-pipe for sale if you'd like. Low mileage, good condition. Sorry to barge into your thread, but let me know

 

OP, jsut so you know, GT midpipes do NOT fit on a V6 without modification. and at that point, you are better off just having a shop make a midpipe.

I was under the impression the OP meant a v6 h-pipe and gt exhaust... maybe I misunderstood him?

But yeah, GT midpipes won't fit v6's without modification, but if you have an aftermarket v6 h/x pipe, a gt cat-back will bolt right up.
