For those who did 4.2 CRANK swap!
they sound like they know...quick question how many miles do i have to put on this delk 4.2 before i can run my procharger again?I heard like 500 miles but i only drive the car 3 times a week.....maybe 20 miles total
its probably going to be a couple GRAND, where you can get the motor for $300 and put the top end on that and just swap it.
providing i have money for the IRS and dont go to jail for tax evasion yes, (******* boss told me i was getting XX an hour and taking taxes out, last friday he droped of my pay check with 2 checks (laid off) and a 1099... ****ing *****, but i think i should still be able to get her back before thanksgiving)
but yes i sold her to a friend and im hoping to get it back, it just sits between his 71 road runner (original 440 car) and a 76 kenworth road tractor thats restored with a bunch of chrome, he usually just drives it to get beer
See guys that's what's confusing me even more, words like: "i think", "i believe", "you might need"...lol! I was going to do that if the cost was up to $500, but i see it might be waaay bigger. I think I'll just get a SSM power pack, while I'm dealing with them I might ask them about this they must know it. Thanks tho!
mustangman I thought you sold your car...are you getting her back?

Well I'm not messing with something I have no clue about. I'll just get a SSM pack and thats it. I get everything I need, put it on, do a dynotune and thats enough for me. I think that should give me close to 200HP, and thats what i want...for now!
