Default ECU modification

I am looking to connect my car's ECU to a computer. I was initially going to buy an OBD-II reader off of ebay, but I found the company Hondata.com installs a usb cable directly to the ecu of some cars for this purpose? Does anyone know of a company that does this for Mustangs?

Thank you all very much.

you don't drive a honda, so no it won't work. We use programmers to take care of that stuff, and it's best to be done by someone who is trained to do it. With your mods, I wouldn't recommend going crazy unless you plan to go F/I

I was wondering if there was a similar company that modifies the ECU with a USB cable but specifically for Mustangs. I currently have a macmini built into my car, so as I drive I would like to visualize RPM, HP, Speed as well as other statistics. Once I have that done, I will be using a shop I know in PA to tune my car.

So does anyone know of the name of a company that can do this to a mustang's ECU?

So want a guage cluster, it shows rpm, speed, fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temp. SCT makes tuners, with DATALOGGING, this is not a HONDA, things don't work the same, I used to drag race hondas back in the day, before "The Slow and the Curious" ever came out, I know what I'm talking about, just listen.

Why do I have a feeling that your brother bought his "Chip" off of Ebay, for $19.95 "Buy it now!" and recieved a $0.05 resistor in a pretty little box that he had to splice in to one of his sensors on his intake?

Tell him to enjoy constantly running lean.

actually you can buy a "chip" for our cars. its just smarter to buy the tuner becuase with the tuner you can change things as many times as you want with ease. with a chip, the new program is programed into the computer and its stuck that way unless you send the chip back to the company you bought it from and have them put a new tune on it.
