depending on how low you want to go will tell you what you need.
if you wanted like a 1.5 inch drop i dont think youll need cc plates. anything above, yes.
you SHOULD change out your shocks and struts. i guess if moneys tight just get another set of stockers.

From my experience, if you're lowernig your car, you want it done RIGHT. If you lower your car and don't do everyhting right, you're going to screw up your ride quality, handling, and safety because the suspension geomtry and alignment will be off. 1.5" is fairly significant. you WILL need CC plates, to readjust the alignment, or you will have excessivly negative camber, like -4 degs which will tear up your tires, and adversly affect handling. You will also need longer ball joints with the spacers, (Steeda X2 balljoint kit) to restore the geometry, and YES, you need GOOD SHOX/STRUTS, not OEM monroes because you need a stronger damping force for the lowered center of gravity. you will also need a custom alignment from a good alignment shop that is equipped to align a lowered vehicle. I would say if you can't afford all this all now, keep it stock until you can afford to do everytihng right. if you put the springs on with your current shox struts, it will be sh**y. don't take short cuts, do it all right the first time.
also, you can get new, tokico high performance shox/struts for $300 shipped from stangsuspension.com

ok first off you dont have to have CC plates for 1.5 inches nything lower then yes you do you do not hve to have bll joints you cn get them they are nice yes nd s far as shocks and struts your stockers will do for some time hell i still hve my stockers nd ive been lowered for a year now almost and i also have not had an alighnment since lowering and im not tearing up my tires just throwing that out there
you dont need isolators if you dont wnt to use them you can reuse your stock rubber ones if they arent destoryed if they are then yes you will need some poly ones

-you dont NEED cc plates. you might need camber bolts but those are cheap. (stangsuspension.com)
-you also dont NEED the ball joints. your car will be fine without them for everyday use.
-i too went about a year on stock shocks and struts and it was fine, the ride was a little more rough but not bad at all, i didnt notice much when i got new ones.
-now on the alignment..you DO need to have a shop do an alignment but any shop should be able to do it just fine, they dont have to know anything special since its lowered. its the same thing.
-you can reuse your stock isolators. i took my fronts out and left the backs in. when i was researching it when i did it i found that any squeeks coming from springs that ppl didnt have isolators on were always the back springs. nobody that i talked to or read about had any problems with squeeking up front.
alright thats all really good to here... i think i'm gonna go ahead and get shocks and struts anyways... i think i will have enough to get the tokico kit
so i dont need the bumpsteerkit either??
i really dunno what that or isolators do?
